Hello! Thank you for submitting to the Playdate pop up at L.A. Zine Fest.
Tabler Agreement: By checking the box labeled “I Agree,” I agree that I will not hold L.A. Zine Fest, its volunteers or its venue responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged merchandise. L.A. Zine Fest will not tolerate any actions or merchandise that are considered hateful or that make any attendee, organizer, volunteer or exhibitor feel uncomfortable or unsafe. Violators will be asked to leave the festival without a refund.
What follows are the adapted guidelines for L.A. Zine Fest, as they apply to Playdate exhibitors. We want you to bring your game, and let people play it. If you have zines, or other physical goods, that’s great too! But they aren’t a requirement for this particular situation.
In an effort to continue providing a zine-centric experience for our visitors and tablers alike, L.A. Zine Fest asks that at least 80% of the items you sell at your table be zines or other DIY, independently produced publications. However, given that Playdate is focused on games, Playdate tablers are not required to sell publications. That being said, we do highly recommend bringing along zines, buttons, shirts, prints and other DIY materials to sell or give away at your table.
We would love to show table top games at Playdate! Although our submission form is geared toward digital games, please apply and let us know the best way we can experience your non-digital game in the description.
NOTE: Filling out this form DOES NOT guarantee you a table. Because of high demand and limited space we cannot offer a table to every applicant. You will be notified at the beginning of May regarding your application status. If accepted, information regarding payment options, seating preferences and gear requests will be provided at that time. Your table will be reserved as soon as payment is received.
Playdate tables will all be half tables (3 feet long with 1 chair). The standard fee for all L.A. Zine Fest half tables is $50. This money will be sent directly to L.A. Zine Fest in order to fund the event.
